The Ironwood Power Generation Practice group is dedicated exclusively to independent power producers. Our team has over 20 years experience in this area. Ironwood has the tools and knowledge to serve as a risk management advisor for operational portfolios both across the United States and internationally.  We have extensive experience in the design, implementation, and administration of complex property insurance programs that are required by power generation asset portfolios.

Our experience includes green field, brown field, and re-power projects’ builder’s risk programs along with Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP). In addition to these and other standard coverage placements, Ironwood has designed a unique solution to the integration of Forced Outage coverage with traditional business interruption coverage.
